About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Support Officer to join our System Coordination Centre team in Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of our SCC function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the SCC team.
  • Manage the System Coordination Centre inbox and coordinate data collections and assurance returns.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the SCC Team and provide information and advice to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and review SCC processes and documentation.
  • Support project activities and provide administrative support to the team as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working within administration, preferably in a healthcare or public sector environment.
  • Experience of complex diary management, management and facilitation of large-scale complex meetings, and minute taking/secretariat for formal meetings.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, and information analysis.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and organize own workload with minimal supervision, working to tight and often changing timescales.
  • Good understanding of the demands of a busy NHS senior management team.

Please note that you will be required to work from our HQ, Wynford House in Yeovil, for 2/3 days per week, and elements of the role may require you to travel to other locations across Somerset to attend in-person meetings and meet the needs of the service.
