Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Quantity Surveyor to become an integral part of our Construction division.

Location: Witham, Essex.

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent – flexible and part-time hours can be accommodated upon request.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate with the Commercial team on a diverse array of projects, spanning sectors such as education, healthcare, leisure, and public infrastructure.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Engagement throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction phases to final delivery.
  • Collaboration with the project delivery team to ensure effective contractual oversight and financial management across various sectors.
  • Administration of the commercial elements of subcontract agreements, from procurement through to interim and final account settlements, including participation in final account negotiations to secure optimal results.

Candidate Profile

This opportunity is ideal for you if you possess:

  • A minimum of HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership.
  • Robust commercial insight and acumen.
