Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance our Construction division.

Location: Witham, Essex.

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent – flexible and part-time options available upon request.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate with the Commercial team on diverse projects spanning various sectors including education, healthcare, leisure, and public services.

Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Engagement in the complete project lifecycle, from pre-construction phases to final delivery.
  • Collaboration with the project delivery team to maintain contractual oversight and manage costs across multiple sectors.
  • Administration of the commercial elements of subcontract accounts, overseeing procurement, interim, and final account settlements, and participating in negotiations to secure optimal outcomes.

Candidate Profile

This role is ideal for individuals who possess:

  • A qualification of HNC or higher in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Prior experience in team management.
  • Robust commercial insight.
