The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. This position requires a dedicated individual with a background in hospitality management, ensuring that all guest interactions and hotel processes meet the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
- Manage a team of Night Porters, delegating tasks and ensuring completion to the highest standards.
- Maintain excellent guest relations, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Conduct health and safety checks, including fire safety and security protocols.
- Perform front office duties, including running night audit reports and facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Provide food and beverage service during night hours.
- Ensure cleanliness of the hotel lobby and meeting areas.
- Lead the Night team towards achieving performance goals related to customer satisfaction and hotel standards.
- Support the professional development of team members, preparing them for future career advancements.
- Contribute to the strategic management of hotel operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar night or reception role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations.
- Previous experience in the hospitality sector is essential.
- Proficient computer skills, with familiarity in Opera and Brilliant electronic front office systems.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with a knack for overseeing and delegating tasks.
- A warm and approachable demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
- The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
