Night Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Glasgow Marriott Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Night Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the property Person on Duty and oversee all property operations during the overnight shift.
- Ensure that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided during the overnight shift.
- Represent property management in resolving any guest or property-related situation.
- Personally assist in resolving any issues and completing tasks.
- Process guest check-ins, assigning rooms and activating room keys.
- Answer, respond to and process all guest calls, messages, questions or concerns.
- Provide and oversee accurate audit of all deskwork and transactions from the day and ensure full night audit function is carried out in accordance with hotel procedures, full audit documentation is completed and forwarded to the Finance team.
- Accurately record all relevant room and F&B statistics.
- Check daily ledger accounts for correctness, resolving any discrepancies.
- Process check-outs and resolving any disputed charges.
- Process payments and room charges.
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are maintained in a secure condition with regular security checks carried out.
Requirements:
- Proactive and reliable
- Responsible and highly motivated
- Skilled in effective communication
- Previous Front Office Experience essential
- Minimum of 1 year Opera Experience preferred
- Preferably a Personal License Holder and First Aider
