Distribution Operations Manager

A leading food manufacturer in North Wales is seeking a highly experienced Distribution Operations Manager to join their team.

This role will involve overseeing the distribution of a diverse range of products to multiple grocers, export markets, and retail eCommerce channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of products, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and hygiene, and managing relationships with external suppliers and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing an annual plan to ensure efficient distribution and maximize sales opportunities
  • Managing day-to-day operational matters, including staffing, inventory, and logistics
  • Maintaining accurate management information and KPIs to drive team performance
  • Coaching and supervising colleagues to ensure effective teamwork and communication

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a complex, fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing warehouse facility and a proven track record of delivering results in a similar role.
