The Community Engagement Coordinator will play a vital role in assisting our current members to become more socially active and engaged. A focus will be on attracting new members to experience the benefits of our organization with support from our central office. The ideal candidate will possess a vibrant personality, capable of fostering enjoyable interactions and building friendships; promoting our values, actively participating in our initiatives, and being open to travel across the region.
Key Responsibilities
To manage, organize, and enhance the social offerings of the District aimed at drawing in both potential and current members within the local area. To take an initiative in the recruitment of new members and to cultivate a team of volunteers to support our social and community activities. To assist the Committee in developing and implementing a strategic Development Plan.
Required Qualifications
Proficient in the use of social media platforms, IT, and digital devices
Excellent interpersonal skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to lead group activities
Access to a vehicle with valid insurance and a willingness to travel throughout the region.
