Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales professional to join our team at Quay Recruit as a Business Development Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing and ambitious Asset Finance Broker.

This position would be initially focused on phone-based sales with some expectation to attend client meetings. We offer remote and hybrid working opportunities, with a basic salary of up to £30,000 + uncapped bonus earnings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To convert all customers who currently fund asset purchases via brokers to our business and secure two-year exclusivity agreements.
  • To win new customers outside of our existing customer base in target markets such as Plant Hire, Car & Van Hire, Haulage, Agriculture, and Manufacturing.
  • To become the dominant finance broker in these target markets within 5 years.
  • To self-generate and work with warm leads to convert them into customers.
Requirements:
  • Previous Sales or Telesales experience within B2B is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent telephone manners and organisational skills are essential.
  • A grounded individual who is comfortable talking with people at all levels and is good at developing relationships is required.
  • Experience using and maintaining a live CRM system, preferably Zoho, is critical.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in using Emails, Word, and Excel, are necessary.
  • Experience in working within FCA regulated Sales guidelines is essential.
