ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our diligent QA team as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist. This newly established role will provide you with an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and flourishing area of gaming, ensuring the excellence of our titles in the post-launch phase. You will collaborate closely with the QA lead and the broader QA team as they continue to support an expanding array of exciting VR projects across various platforms.

Your responsibilities will include conducting regular gameplay evaluations on our portfolio of released titles as well as those currently under development.

You will be tasked with generating comprehensive reports, maintaining an up-to-date bug tracking system, working in tandem with the development team and community, performing post-launch assessments, investigating community-submitted issues, and occasionally assisting the QA team with larger testing initiatives. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality in report accuracy, alongside proficient use of the JIRA database, will be essential. Effective time management skills will ensure that tasks are completed punctually and to the highest standards, supporting your colleagues effectively.

This position will allow you to play a crucial role in guaranteeing that our titles provide the best possible experience for our players after their release.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated and sustained experience in a QA capacity
  • A genuine passion for video games
  • A quick learner who takes pride in mastering tools and methodologies
  • Capability to engage with VR games and experiences
  • Proficiency in thoroughly investigating, documenting, and following up on various issues
  • Ability to produce clear and efficient documentation
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting and adhere to instructions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and pattern recognition abilities
