About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our team as a Senior Problem Solving Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of business areas within Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, where you will have a global impact and visibility up to the CEO level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze daily Product Defect Reports (PDRs) from our global dealerships, identifying and categorizing issues and creating statistically based reports.
  • Work closely with the lead engineer to select key topics for further investigation and resolution, creating problem definition sheets and collaborating with technical owners to resolve issues.
  • Manage ongoing escalations and issues across various business areas, utilizing excellent project management skills and time management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate any issues not progressing or resolved.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree required, with experience in a technical industry with quality issues, problem-solving, and statistical data processing advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge and persuade when required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time role, Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm and Friday 7am – 12pm, with an expectation to be site-based 100% of the time. There may be occasional travel to our St Athan factory or dealer network.
