Legal Compliance Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Compliance professional to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain various management systems and tools to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Distribute communications and training materials to relevant parties to ensure awareness and understanding of compliance policies.
  • Manage and organize Compliance Team folders in accordance with procedures to ensure efficient access to information.
  • Maintain Legal Compliance Team Registers and Records, primarily using Excel, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Process and update new client information accurately and efficiently to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide Management Information to stakeholders.
  • Offer general ad-hoc administrative support to the wider team and reporting manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Manage personal workload and prioritize tasks to meet business needs and operational goals.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and various managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and effective collaboration.
  • Deliver against agreed targets in terms of quality and productivity to ensure high standards of compliance.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience working in a pressurized environment with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Productivity Tools, especially Excel, to ensure efficient data management and analysis.
  • Recent experience in a client-facing position with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt within an ever-changing environment with a flexible attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to liaise with senior-level individuals to ensure effective communication.
  • Basic understanding of AML, Data Protection, Conduct & Ethics to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across multiple teams in various jurisdictions.
  • Flexible attitude to adapt to the needs of the business, often at short notice, with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
