Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Aspire Housing Limited. This is a key role in our transformation project, which aims to redesign our in-house maintenance service.

The successful candidate will oversee the strategic maintenance material supply contracts for the organisation, ensuring robust contract and performance management. They will manage the process and controls of material usage and costs, ensuring that the right products are available to meet the operational needs of the business while ensuring value for money and full transparency of costs.

The ideal candidate will have experience of identifying improvements and setting up new processes and systems to streamline the purchasing operation. They will also have experience of high-volume catalogue management and be conversant with procurement methodologies and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the strategic maintenance material supply contracts for the organisation
  • Ensure robust contract and performance management
  • Manage the process and controls of material usage and costs
  • Identify improvements and set up new processes and systems to streamline the purchasing operation
  • Experience of high-volume catalogue management
  • Conversant with procurement methodologies and techniques
