About the Role

Barchester Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role within the home's management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a Positive Environment: Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage Enquiries and Showrounds: Coordinate and manage showrounds for prospective families, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Drive Occupancy and Reputation: Collaborate with the community engagement team to enhance the home's occupancy and reputation.
  • Support Resident and Family Feedback: Focus on delivering exceptional customer care and addressing resident and family feedback.
  • Recruitment and Payroll Support: Assist with the recruitment process, complete employment new starter checks, and prepare payroll for home-based staff.
  • HR and Employee Support: Provide guidance and advice to employees on HR-related queries and ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Financial Management: Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts, ensuring accurate and secure financial management.
  • Training and Development: Update staff records with ad-hoc training, supervisions, and appraisals, and offer guidance on staff development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • HR Administration and Recruitment: Previous involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • CIPD Qualification: CIPD qualification would be beneficial.
