About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer to join our team at Venn Group. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on social care matters to clients on behalf of the Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support across a broad range of areas, including ordinary residence, Data Protection and Freedom of Information, safeguarding, provider failure, section 117 aftercare, and 16–17-year-old Deprivation of liberty cases.
  • Deliver high-quality advice and guidance to clients, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are protected.
  • Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in providing legal advice on Adult Social Care.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
