Facilities and Maintenance Manager - Newcastle

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities.
  2. Manage and supervise a team of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective delivery of maintenance services.
  3. Coordinate and oversee building projects and renovations to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Develop and manage maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and health and safety standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. At least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  2. Technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  3. Proficiency in operating modern maintenance technology, including ERP and CRM systems.
  4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
