Job Description

Job Title: Courier Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and equipment to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods and equipment to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including small vans and 3.5 tonne Luton vans, to transport goods and equipment.
  • Use electronic and paper-based forms to record tasks and items delivered and collected.
  • Ensure all courier tasks are carried out correctly and to scheduled times.
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment and goods, using a tail lift and loading/unloading and moving of roll cages.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to maintain the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months.
  • No more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the local and surrounding areas.
