Residential Senior Building Surveyor - MRICS

Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed by our client, a growing Independent and a highly regarded practice of Chartered Building Surveyors and designers, based in the Cotswold District.

This is a great opportunity to join a thriving practice where you would be a valued team member, expand your knowledge, and make a real difference.

Brief job details:

  • Mainly carrying out building surveys.
  • A significant percentage of work is on traditional and Listed buildings.
  • Most of the projects are located in the Southwest of England, predominantly in the Cotswolds.
  • The client base includes private clients, rural estates, local authorities, charities, developers and contractors

Candidates:

  • Will need to be MRICs with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
  • Have a working knowledge of planning and heritage legislation and building regulations.
  • Onsite experience, project management & contract administration (JCT suite).
  • Building Surveys, predominantly RICS Level 3 and some Level 2. Commercial Surveys. Maintenance and dilapidations inspections, schedules, and negotiations.
  • Projects: Commercial, Residential, Conservation. Construction design and management for a range of commercial, residential and heritage projects.
  • Practice management experience will be an advantage.
