Residential Senior Building Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Beach Baker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out building surveys, working with traditional and listed buildings, and managing projects in the Southwest of England, predominantly in the Cotswolds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct building surveys and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Work with a significant percentage of traditional and listed buildings.
  • Manage projects in the Southwest of England, with a focus on the Cotswolds.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including private individuals, rural estates, local authorities, charities, developers, and contractors.
Requirements:
  • MRICS qualification with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
  • Working knowledge of planning and heritage legislation, building regulations, and contract administration.
  • Onsite experience, project management, and contract administration skills.
  • Ability to work on building surveys, predominantly RICS Level 3 and some Level 2, commercial surveys, maintenance and dilapidations inspections, schedules, and negotiations.
  • Experience working on commercial, residential, and conservation projects.
  • Practice management experience is an advantage.
