About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Investments Administrator to join our operations department at AJ Bell. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to our clients through the setup, execution, and review of trades, ensuring accurate pricing of securities, and maintaining the integrity of our systems and customer-facing data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Execution and Review: Verify and match executed trades, including equities, collectives, and FX, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Trade Rebookings and Data Updates: Process trade rebookings and request static data updates to maintain up-to-date customer information.
  • Client and Counterparty Exposure Monitoring: Monitor client and counterparty exposure levels, including short positions and client debtors, to ensure timely identification of potential risks.
  • Programme Trades and System Maintenance: Ensure programme trades are run and perform as expected, and maintain the integrity of our systems and customer-facing data.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with other teams to deliver exceptional customer service and consumer outcomes, and support management with project implementations, fixes, and upgrades.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service to clients through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Highly Accurate Work: Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role, including trade execution and review.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT Literacy: Be confident in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and have a basic understanding of IT systems and processes.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and communicate with clients.
  • Previous Experience in Financial Services: Ideally, have previous experience in a financial services administration role, particularly in stockbroking or banking.
