Global Risk Director

We are excited to be partnering with a leading ESG consultancy to find a Global Risk Director to lead their risk management strategy on a global scale. Our client is at the forefront of helping organisations navigate the evolving landscape of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks. They are seeking an experienced Global Risk Director to oversee the global risk framework, develop strategies to mitigate ESG-related risks, and advise clients on sustainable risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and implement the global risk strategy, ensuring it aligns with both client needs and the company's ESG objectives.
• Oversee the development and application of risk management policies and frameworks, with a focus on ESG risks such as climate change, social impact, and governance challenges.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights on mitigating ESG risks and aligning risk management with sustainable business practices.
• Lead risk assessments and mitigation strategies for clients across multiple regions, ensuring they comply with both local and international ESG regulations.
• Ensure that all risk management practices adhere to global ESG standards, helping clients navigate compliance in a complex regulatory environment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a senior risk management role, with a focus on ESG and sustainability.
