Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all maintenance services are delivered in accordance with service specifications.
- Oversee contractor projects, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Maintain the internal environment by executing basic repairs and redecorating as necessary.
- Manage the external environment, including outbuildings and gardens.
- Conduct regular testing of equipment and maintain a detailed log of all work performed.
- Orient new and existing staff regarding the building and fire safety procedures.
- Regularly test fire alarm systems and assist with periodic fire evacuation drills.
- Safeguard the storage of maintenance equipment and products.
- Monitor and record temperatures for domestic hot and cold water, completing necessary checks.
- Inspect and document all portable electrical appliances brought into the facility.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained according to established guidelines.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance professional with knowledge in areas such as minor electrical, plumbing, joinery, and painting.
- Familiarity with CQC requirements related to health and safety.
- Understanding of current health and safety regulations, including EHO, COSHH, and fire regulations.
- A valid driving license.
- Knowledge of central heating systems and water supply systems.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to changing needs.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capability to lead a small team effectively.
