Store Maintenance Associate

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out minor general and fabric maintenance tasks, as well as planned and reactive maintenance across multiple stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled, including fire alarm call point tests, water temperature checks, and shower spray head clean and chlorination.
- Perform weekly store defrost programme.
- Conduct minor building fabric repairs.
- Carry out minor decorating tasks.
- Perform minor plumbing tasks and repairs.
- Conduct minor joinery tasks and repairs.
- Complete minor general ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
- A broad range of practical skills and experience in a trade, including the ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Positive and proactive approach, with good customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation and the ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
- IT skills, including the ability to use a tablet and Microsoft Office software.
- Good communication skills.
- A full UK driver's license for roles covering multiple stores.
- Physical fitness, including the ability to move and lift heavy items and use ladders.
