Job Title: Production Team Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Team Leader to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the production team, ensuring that production requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the alignment of production requirements on a daily basis, ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively.
- Develop the team's capabilities to meet established objectives.
- Further develop processes within the production areas to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage non-conformances, support industrialization through APQP & PPAP processes, and implement production and assembly process improvements through QRQC deployment.
- Conduct risk assessments using tools like Mango and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Lead the implementation of employee-driven improvements to enhance overall performance.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in machine shop operations and a comprehensive understanding of machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and familiarity with assembly, machining, processing, quality, and SAP systems.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and solve problems within a team setting.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation within the production team.
- Willingness to work shifts and adapt to changing business needs.
