Cell Leader (Nights) Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cell Leader to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a Cell Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff to achieve the required level of output in line with laid down production targets and the company's overall goals for the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality products and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage compliance with Employee Handbook and all policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Actively manage all employee performance, ensuring good performance is recognised and poor performance is managed
  • Support your team in the delegating of workload, be flexible and reactive when managing breaks, absence, and supervising the activities of the day-to-day operational needs of the business
  • Ensure the team are skilled to deliver and achieve production goals on time and in full, delivering individual training plans with succession in mind and manage resources to flex and adapt to cover requirements within your team
  • Support the identification, selection, and delivery of agreed improvements from your team within the prescribed timescales and maintain the upkeep of project status and ensure your team are always up to date with progress and developments
  • Actively support and promote your own personal development by attending coaching and mentoring sessions and be aware at all times of your development areas and agreed improvements

Requirements:

  • CMI/ILM Level 3 or equivalent leadership qualification
  • Risk Assessment, COSHH, and Permit to Work
  • Fire Marshall
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy
