Thorn Baker Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our team as a Construction Safety Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of safety inspections, site audits, and risk assessments across various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with site teams to develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures.
- Review and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a site-based health and safety role within the construction industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CDM and COSHH.
- Proficient in report writing and data analysis.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and CSCS Professional Card are essential.
