About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our Supportive Care Team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As an integral member of the team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Lead Nurse, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Lead Nurse, including diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking.
- Line manage Team Secretaries, conducting regular appraisals, 1:1 meetings, and sickness reviews.
- Manage complex diaries, using your own judgment to prioritize appointments and tasks.
- Raise purchase orders on the Trust's finance system and type HR letters.
- Order supplies and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
- Assist with recruitment, completing relevant HR forms, and using IT systems.
- Keep and update staff training records and perform other general office duties.
