About the Role:
The Director of Estates and Facilities is a key leadership position responsible for the strategy, operations, and compliance of the University's complex and evolving estate. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and the wider Executive Board, the Director will ensure our estate supports our vision and meets the needs of our three Faculties and all Professional Services areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the University's estate strategy, ensuring alignment with its vision and objectives.
- Oversee the operations and maintenance of the University's built estate, including its development, security, and space utilization.
- Contribute to the delivery of the University's net zero carbon and wider sustainability objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the estate supports the needs of the University's Faculties and Professional Services areas.
