About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Fundraising Manager to join our team at Oxfam GB. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our mission to end poverty and inequality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategy: Design and implement a strategic fundraising plan to achieve our fundraising goals, including identifying new funding opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support for our programs.
  • Manage and Report on Funding: Oversee the management of funding agreements, including reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with our program teams to ensure that fundraising efforts are aligned with our program goals and objectives.
  • Provide Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to the development of our fundraising team.
Requirements
  • Experience in Fundraising: Proven experience in fundraising, including developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building relationships with donors and stakeholders, and managing funding agreements.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with teams and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
