Job Title: Head of Climate Research

Oxford Economics, a leading global economic research and consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Climate Modelling and Scenarios team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing climate research strategies, providing insightful analysis, and contributing to the growth of our Global Climate Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement climate research strategies to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of climate policy, literature, and regulatory research to provide actionable insights.
  • Lead the development of climate research reports, briefings, and other materials to inform our clients' decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Represent Oxford Economics at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements:
  • Master's or PhD in economics, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in climate economics, research, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful research strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
