About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiology Assistant Practitioner to join our team at Ramsay Health Care. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of radiographic procedures and practices as defined in the Ramsay Health Care 'Scheme of Work for Assistant Practitioners Undertaking Radiography'
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required, demonstrating a professional, caring, and responsible approach to duties carried out
  • Perform a range of work procedures and practices as defined in the Ramsay Health Care 'Scheme of Work for Assistant Practitioners Undertaking Radiography'
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • SCoR approved certificate of Higher Education (or equivalent) in Radiography
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills
  • Demonstrated Computer Skills and RIS/PACS experience
  • Understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR

Desirable Qualifications

  • Public Voluntary Register of Assistant Practitioners (PVRAP)
  • Relevant post-qualification clinical experience
