About the Role
Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our Orthopaedics team at Rivers Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatre department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert scrub nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless theatre operations and efficient patient flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of theatre policies and procedures.
- Support the training and development of junior staff members to ensure the continued growth and success of our theatre team.
Requirements
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Senior level scrub experience in orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Flexible and positive attitude, with a warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
