Endoscopy Practitioner Opportunity

About the Role

As an Endoscopy Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing Planned Care: You will be responsible for delivering quality planned care across the endoscopy patient pathway, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and treatment.
  2. Supporting the Endoscopy Unit: You will support and assist the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in managing and organizing care within the endoscopy unit, ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective care.
  3. Delivering Quality Care: You will deliver quality care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care and treatment.
  4. Improving Quality Standards: You will participate in the improvement of Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Registered Practitioner status with NMC or HCPC registration
  • Competence and qualifications in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination
  • Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination
  • Knowledge of standards and external bodies like CQC, GRS, JAG, HTM 01-06
