If you are an Operating Department Practitioner, we have an amazing opportunity to join a dedicated team in Scotland’s leading provider of independent healthcare in their Theatre Department
Our client’s hospital has access to some of the latest technology and equipment, including 31 rooms; 2 operating theatres; Ophthalmic Suite; Ambulatory Care Unit; Endoscopy Room and 11 consulting rooms, specializing in a variety of surgeries including orthopaedics, ophthalmics, one stop breast clinic service, gynaecology, general surgery and gastroenterology.
You’ll also have access to ongoing career development courses and fully funded accredited qualifications, with support at every stage in your career, allowing you to flourish professionally.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern, including nights and weekends, with additional pay for unsocial hours.
**Applicants should meet the following criteria**:
- Registered professional with valid NMC or HCPC registration
- Anaesthetic and Recovery experience in a multitude of specialties, ideally Orthopaedic
**Duties of this role include**:
- To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
- Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users.
- As a skilled member of the nursing team promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
- Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
- Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct.
