We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at MediTalent Ltd, a leading healthcare provider in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in scrub and anaesthetic roles to take on a challenging position.
Key Responsibilities:- Perioperative Care: Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring all necessary protocols are followed.
- Intraoperative Duties: Serve as the scrub practitioner during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and assisting surgeons.
- Postoperative Care: Provide recovery support to patients, monitoring vital signs and addressing any immediate post-surgical needs.
- Relevant Qualifications in Operating Department Practice or Nursing - Holds a degree or diploma in Operating Department Practice or Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Professional Registration - Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations.
- Clinical Experience - Demonstrated experience in scrub and anaesthetic roles within a surgical setting, preferably in recovery nursing.
- Competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, plus enhancements and benefits package.
- 25 days holiday per year, increasing during employment.
