Senior Psychiatrist for Acute Adult Inpatient Care

Position Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Senior Psychiatrists to become integral members of our multidisciplinary team and Senior Leadership in the acute adult inpatient unit at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidates will collaborate within pre-arranged schedules to serve as the Responsible Clinician, engaging with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate, review, prescribe, formulate, and provide treatment for inpatients admitted to the facility. A significant portion of these patients are admitted under the Mental Health Act.

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive starting salary for newly appointed consultants. Newly appointed consultants will commence at a salary of £105,390 at pay point YC72 (point 04). Qualifications and Experience:
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered on the GMC specialist register or within six months of CCT/CESR current AC approval
- Active membership with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
Required Experience:
- Background in working age adult psychiatry
- Experience in teaching and training at both undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels
- Involvement in Quality Improvement Projects
