Service Integration PMO Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Integration PMO Manager to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY SERVICES SP. Z O.O. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the Service Integration program/project portfolio to agreed targets, in time, in budget, and at quality of functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Service Integration PMO team and monitor the program/project portfolio delivery according to agreed targets, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation actions.
  • Ensure the IT programs/IT projects follow and comply with given goals of the IT.
  • Prioritize the project portfolio in concert with the IT program/IT project sponsors based on changing functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and other interdependencies.
  • Organize the program/project portfolio in the most efficient way, defining principles and standards to harmonize the Service Integration program/project management methodologies from internal or 3rd party external service providers.
  • Ensure the installation/management/maintenance/optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IT Service delivery or IT Service demand in relevant area of responsibility.
  • Monitor the delivery of business objectives and customer experience for PMO services, collaborating with Business Stakeholders and Departments to analyze business demand for existing or new IT solutions.
  • Execute, for assigned tasks, all actions in processes according to agreed RACI specification, communicating status of the project and program portfolio to relevant stakeholders across the business and IT.
  • Proactively drive standardization and harmonization of the Service Integration project landscape.
  • Maintain clear budget and spend information, managing assigned budget effectively and delivering activities within agreed schedules and costs.
  • Implement, maintain, and operate Service Integration portfolio governance, including reporting from all Service Integration Project Managers, acting as an escalation point and resolving disputes arising in relation to IT business-facing support and infrastructure services.
  • Ensure that investments and initiatives in IT project management services are aligned with business strategy and priorities, supporting the implementation of the IT Strategy for relevant area of responsibility.
  • Ensure, with HR Manager support, that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed, in line with both departmental goals and wider HR guidelines, guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both HE and the employee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience working in the IT in large global corporations.
  • Proven experience as PMO Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead small teams or projects.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively in geographically dispersed teams.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, ability to formulate complex topics in everyday language.
  • ITIL Foundation certificate required.
  • Prince, PMP (preferred).
  • L6S (preferred).
