Job Description

Christy Media Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Project Engineer - IP Systems Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Ownership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the design and implementation of technical workflows, with a strong emphasis on IP-based systems, particularly those adhering to ST2110 standards.
  • Decision Making & Procurement: Make informed decisions on technical equipment and manage the procurement process to support project goals.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, system schematics, and cable schedules.
  • Team Development: Train and develop the engineering team on key technologies and software, ensuring consistent, high-quality support across all projects.
  • System Analysis: Utilize advanced tools to analyze systems for technical integrity and resolve complex issues.
  • Client & Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Consultancy Role: Act as a consultant on projects related to business growth, providing expertise on workflow diagrams, budget preparation, and technical documentation.
Requirements:
  • IP & Networking Expertise: Strong understanding of Broadcast IP network design and implementation, with specific experience in ST2110 standards, SMPTE 2022, NMOS, Dante, and AES67.
  • Broadcast Engineering Background: Proven experience in broadcast engineering, with a focus on both IT and networking within an engineering capacity.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing and delivering complex engineering projects, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Ability to provide creative solutions to technical challenges and remain calm under pressure.
