Senior Project Engineer (Client side) - Staff

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation operating in the renewable / novel clean energy sectors. Our client is looking for engineers ideally with a Process Engineering background.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the delivery of packages of work by the FEED contractor.
  2. Conduct technical reviews of gaps in scope of work delivered by the FEED contractor.
  3. Provide technical advice and project management services on client sites.
  4. Verify the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.
  5. Develop budget costs and cash flow projections for projects.
  6. Plan, schedule, and monitor progress on engineering projects.
  7. Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders on projects.
  8. Ensure effective management of HSE issues in line with the client's policies and procedures.
  9. Verify project deliverables including drawings, schedules, datasheets, specifications.
  10. Lead engineering design and assessment in line with client expectations, and support others within the team.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  1. Must be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, with chartered status desired but not essential.
  2. A Process Engineering background is preferable but not essential.
  3. Previous experience working on design projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, or Renewable Energy industries is required.
  4. Experience in other major energy sectors such as Energy from Waste or similar will also be highly advantageous.
