About the Role

This is a pivotal position where you will own the end-to-end management of Aviva's Modern Workplace, ensuring all colleagues have performant and secure devices and virtual environments with access to the applications they need to excel in their work. The role involves effective resource management to maintain skills and capabilities, effective supplier management to maximise service performance, and risk and control overview and assessment decisions and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of Aviva's Modern Workplace strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and enterprise architecture roadmaps.
  • Manage a team of professionals responsible for the day-to-day operation of Aviva's Modern Workplace, including the management of suppliers and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Aviva's leadership team, IT department, and external partners.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the Modern Workplace, ensuring the security and integrity of Aviva's data and systems.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Modern Workplace engineering and transformation.
  • Deep technical, commercial, and delivery experience in the areas of scope.
  • Understanding of relevant industry trends and benchmarks, particularly in the Financial Services sector.
  • Good understanding of risk and control environment, and management of risk.
