About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Operations Manager to join our team at Bromsgrove District Housing Trust. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operational management of our gas servicing program and general gas and multi-trade repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line manage a team of qualified gas engineers, multi-skilled trades operatives, and a gas scheduler, taking responsibility for decision-making and operational management.
  • Deliver high-quality gas servicing and repair services to our customers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide written reports to the Senior Management Group, maintaining and presenting statistical records for reporting.
Requirements
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a gas delivery service, preferably within the social housing sector.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety principles and practices.
  • Hold a gas management qualification (NVQ level 3 in gas management or similar) or be willing to achieve this within the first 2 years.
  • Hold the following Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT CKR1, HRT1.
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service, tailored to meet the needs of a diverse client base.
  • Current full driving license and access to a vehicle.
