Brain Injury Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to provide high-quality care and support to our adult female client in Southampton, Hampshire.
About the Role:This is a unique opportunity to work with a client who requires support with functional daily living activities, organisation, planning, and communication needs. You will be responsible for helping her with executive functions, such as drawing up realistic plans and schedules, recording and checking information, and getting things done.
The client's rehabilitation is currently co-ordinated by a case manager with input from a multi-disciplinary team to address ongoing physical, cognitive, and linguistic processing difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the client with functional daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Assist with organisation and planning, including setting goals, prioritising tasks, and managing time.
- Support the client's communication needs, including spoken and written communication, and help her to express her thoughts and feelings.
- Provide thinking supports, including helping the client to link information together to make sound decisions and solve problems.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
