About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Southampton. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, including brain injuries. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, while also promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Support individuals with mobility issues, including transferring and mobilizing
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required

Requirements

  • Hold a valid DBS check
  • Have experience working with individuals with complex needs, including brain injuries
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
