Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at Adanola. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring all revenue and expenditure are correctly accounted for, and supporting the Financial Controller in the preparation of the year-end statutory accounts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver a complete management accounting service in accordance with company timetables
  • Review and improve current systems and processes to bring efficiencies to the team
  • Prepare and own the balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate financial information is provided to key internal users
  • Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of the year-end statutory accounts
  • Manage VAT returns, IOSS sales reporting, and USA Sales Tax registration and reporting
  • Control inventory movement, write-offs, and revaluations, and complete monthly stock reconciliations
  • Contribute to national statistics surveys and other ad hoc duties

Requirements

  • Part qualified (ACCA or CIMA) or QBE
  • Proven experience of working in a retail management accounts function
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and meet tight deadlines
