Department Insight
The Employment team stands as one of the UK's leading practices in employment law, consistently recognized for its exceptional service. With a robust team of over 180 legal professionals, we support a diverse clientele, including some of the world's foremost companies, in navigating their employment and immigration law requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior lawyers with various employment law cases while managing individual matters under supervision.
- Engage in both contentious and non-contentious employment work, maintaining direct communication with clients.
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities, including seminars and training sessions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A qualification of 0-4 years in employment law, ideally from a reputable firm.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- A commercial mindset with a commitment to client service and teamwork.
- A keen interest in dual qualification in Northern Ireland and other jurisdictions.
Technical Proficiency
Proficiency in IT tools is essential, including Office 365 and document management systems. Training will be provided to enhance your skills in our specific systems.
Training and Development
Our comprehensive training program includes workshops and seminars led by both external experts and internal professionals. Associates will receive support from dedicated Practice Development Lawyers to ensure continuous growth and development.
