About the Role

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide exceptional care to a male client living with a spinal cord injury in his family home. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while gaining valuable experience in complex care.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support with daily tasks, including personal care, moving and handling, and domestic duties.
  • Accompany the client on outings to the gym and other community locations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment within the client's home.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, family members, and the care team.

About You

  • Possess a full UK driver's license and a willingness to drive the client's vehicle.
  • Demonstrate a kind and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Exhibit flexibility, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
