Senior Finance Lead

As a pivotal member of our finance team, you will take on a leadership role that is essential for the growth and success of our organization. This is a unique opportunity to oversee the finance department in a top-tier capacity.
Key Responsibilities- Management Accounts: Prepare and present monthly management accounts to ensure financial clarity.
- Year-End Financials: Collaborate with external auditors for year-end financial accounts.
- Board Reporting: Develop monthly board packs that include variance analysis and KPI assessments.
- Budgeting: Engage in budgeting and financial forecasting to guide strategic decisions.
- Payroll Processing: Handle payroll, PAYE, and pension contributions efficiently.
- Account Reconciliation: Focus on key account reconciliations, particularly in managing trade debtors and creditors, while overseeing cash flow.
- Accounting Controls: Implement and test accounting controls and procedures to enhance financial integrity.
- Petty Cash Management: Oversee petty cash management and conduct audits as necessary.
- Team Leadership: Provide hands-on management and mentorship to junior staff, including training on payroll systems.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in preparing management accounts and have a strong understanding of payroll processing, particularly using Sagepay.
