Job Summary

Hays Accountancy and Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our client's growing finance team. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely posting and reconciliation of payroll, COS, and prepayment journals across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure accurate and timely posting and reconciliation of payroll, COS, and prepayment journals across multiple entities.
  2. Full reconciliation of general ledger codes on a monthly basis.
  3. Support and reconcile sales tax/GST/VAT submissions and payments.
  4. Perform other ad-hoc tasks required to deliver a timely month-end.
  5. Prepare and support year-end accounts and audit.
  6. Contribute to statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for UK companies as required.
  7. Assume local leadership for teams with non-local line management.
  8. Support the integration and accounting for new acquisitions as required.

Requirements

  1. Accountancy qualification.
  2. Advanced MS Excel skills.
  3. Proven experience in accounting, including financial accounts.
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
  5. Business acumen and ability to understand the impact of business change on financial accounts.
