We are seeking a Bid Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative Bid Management team in a full-time capacity.

In this role, you will oversee the bid process for various proposals, particularly within our Professional Services and Utilities and Inland Waterways sectors. You will also have the chance to contribute to bids across different divisions within our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the complete bid lifecycle, including bid writing, for a diverse clientele that includes local authorities, housing associations, and environmental organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead and manage bids by:

  • Overseeing the bid process from start to finish
  • Crafting and directing the bid strategy, engaging key internal stakeholders for necessary content, and ensuring compliance with bid governance
  • Composing persuasive responses to technical and quality-related bid inquiries that set Ground Control apart from competitors
  • Coordinating the bid schedule to ensure timely progress towards submission deadlines
  • Managing bid portals and facilitating effective communication regarding clarifications
  • Maintaining bidding tools such as the pipeline database and contributing to bid reporting as needed.
