About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Disabled Children's Team at Bath and North East Somerset Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and support to children, young people, and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people's needs under the Children and Families Act.
  • Assess and make recommendations for minor and major adaptations to ensure safe and accessible home environments.
  • Provide equipment and moving and handling advice and support to promote independence and safety.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration. You will have a strong commitment to promoting the welfare and development of children and assisting their carers in creative and innovative ways.
