The Regional Operations Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing operations across various managed locations.

Key responsibilities encompass the management of project delivery, with a strong emphasis on Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ), and financial outcomes. Collaborate with the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Manager to ensure compliance with PPM standards across all sites. Coordinate both reactive and planned maintenance tasks to align with client expectations, adhering to established operating procedures and HSEQ policies. Identify avenues for enhancing value and quality within operations. This position requires regular travel between locations and the main office.

Core Responsibilities
Client Relations

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop strategies to adapt to evolving client needs and expectations.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and ensure effective communication.
Project Management

  • Lead a team of supervisors and operational staff, ensuring adherence to HSEQ controls.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate resources for safe and high-quality project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify areas for enhancement, and ensure compliance with established standards.
Reporting and Documentation

  • Participate in meetings, create achievable project timelines, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain project data systems for client accessibility.
Risk Management

  • Secure necessary approvals, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with the Quantity Surveyor on commercial aspects.
  • Address safety, quality, and environmental concerns.
Team Leadership

  • Oversee the reactive team, provide operational support, and lead subcontractors.
  • Promote company values and act as a representative.
Commercial Responsibilities

  • Assist with commercial requirements, update project schedules, and support quotation processes.
  • Adhere to company protocols regarding invoicing and payments.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong communication, project management, and analytical capabilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a focus on HSEQ standards.
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interpret commercial procedures and construction requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction trades and industry standards.
Education & Training
Required

  • Relevant academic or industry qualification in progress.
  • Certifications in CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and CDM Awareness.
  • Desirable qualifications in construction and personal track safety.
